(Kiyong puffed up his cheeks, regretting the fact he hadn’t chosen a seat that looked straight to the counter, quickly he got up sitting on the opposite so he faced the counter. With a satisfied smile, he slowly lifted his gaze and curiously watched the girl work, often looking away so it didn’t seem like he had been obviously watching her. The phone in his pocket beeped, he bit his lower lip ignoring it but instead the beeping continued. He only bothered to check his messages, when a couple of people turned his way, obviously bothered by his ringtone.)
I’m sorry, I’ll change it to silence ..
(He whispered to nobody in particular and quickly took out the phone placing it on the table. A frown came across his lips as he saw the contact’s name, growling under his breath at his friend’s spamming. The messages were nothing amusing, it was just pictures of kittens as per usual, so Kiyong did what he always did. He began to type gibberish, the typing was halted when he heard footsteps once more. Turning the phone over onto the table, he attempted a smile at the girl, cheeks turning crimson yet again, he had just started to relax. )
Thank you. Thank you for the chocolate soup..hot chocolate I mean. And …that..yes I will ring you. I mean call you..yeah..thank you
(The words coming out of his mouth were all wrong, watching her leave he sighed shaking his head as he pulled the cup of hot chocolate closer to him. He hated himself for being such an idiot, hated how his mouth wasn’t coperaring with him, with his gaze on the table, he turned his phone and quickly began to message his friend whining about how much of an awful day it was turning out to be for him.)
[’ Tina thought everything was cute yet strange when he replied her in a stumble of words and when her back faced him, she slightly laughed at the way he replied her, but she didn’t give much thought afterwards and only thought that he was shy because it was his first time here or that he was eager to meet someone he liked. Years of working in the store, she had never once met an admirer or a lover. And if she did, it was always outside the store and the relationship wouldn’t last long.
As she continued to work in her own little world. Customers began to dwindle down as it neared closing hours. Tina left her workers to work with the rest of the customers as she took the seat at her usual place: the window seat at a corner. The window seat provided a expanse view of the streets that she always liked to twirl her thoughts around at this hour while cupping her warm lavender tea. Her legs tucked underneath her into a seemingly fetal position as if the store was her own home. At times, she would fall asleep in that position when the day’s work caught up with her. Curious, she glanced at the young male and wondered if he had found someone he liked, she wished he did – to Tina, he seemed like a pretty decent guy ]
